ThinkUp Themes creates WordPress themes that are designed to look great and be easy to use, with a theme control panel that lets users make changes without touching code. This project focused on improving the search engine optimisation of the themes and the wider website, so that more people could find them in search results and explore what the company offers.
The main barrier was improving the visibility of the blog and the keywords the site could be found for. This meant refining blog content and keyword strategy, resolving technical SEO issues and improving core web vitals for a better user experience, all within a competitive online marketplace.
We reviewed the website and SEO, then focused on the areas holding back visibility:
Created high-quality, informative and engaging content aligned with what users were looking for, with clear headings, subheadings and structure so pages were easy to read and understand. Relevant keywords were included naturally and content was kept up to date.
Addressed technical issues such as broken links, slow loading times and mobile-friendliness, applied structured data markup and optimised the site for mobile devices.
Carried out thorough keyword research to identify relevant terms with good search demand and lower competition, using keyword tools and competitor analysis to guide the approach.
SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
A clear, professional, fast website helps visitors feel confident enough to get in touch.
Better structure, content and technical health make a site easier for search engines to understand.
Obvious calls to action and simple journeys reduce friction so more visitors take the next step.
A site that works well on phones keeps mobile visitors engaged instead of leaving.
Well-presented services and information help the right customers understand what you offer.
Faster pages and simpler navigation make it easier for people to act while they're interested.
